Subject:-          Setting up of National Mission for Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan.

Government   of  India   vide  Notification  No. F.2 - 4/2000 - Desk (EE) dated 3^rd  December, 2004 has nominated the members on  the  National Mission for Sarva  Shiksha  Abhiyan  under the Chairmanship of the Prime Minister. 

2.     The Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan National Mission has a Governing Council and an Executive Committee.

3.     Para 3 (viii) of the above Notification may be read as follows : 

            viii)             Six Senior level political leaders of the main National Parties (as nominated by the Political Parties) will be as follows : - 
                        
                    a)      Shri Salman Khurshid, Indian National Congress, 24, Akbar Road , New Delhi -110011.
        
                   b)       Shri  D. P. Tripathi, General Secretary, Nationalist  Congress  Party (NCP),  B-9-6249, Vasant Kunj, New Delhi .
     
                   c)       Shri Rajesh  Verma, Member  of Parliament (LS), Bahujan Samaj Party(BSP), 36,  South Avenue , New Delhi -110011.
         
                  d)         Shri  Shameem  Faizee, Member, Central  Secretariat, Communist  Party  of  India(CPI), Ajoy Bhavan, 15, Com. Indrajit Gupta Marg(Kotla Marg), New Delhi-110002.
            
                  e)         Shri  Sitaram Yechury,Member  of the Polit Bureau, Communist Party of India (Marxist), A.K. Gopalan Bhawan, 27-29, Bhai Vir Singh Marg, New Delhi-110001..

                  f)       Shri Balwant P. Apte, Vice-President, Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP), Ashoka Road,  New Delhi-110 001.

ORDERED  that a copy of this Notification be sent to all Ministries and Departments of the Government of India.
